What strikes the eye at first glance in this picture, is the excellent sharpness of the tiny objects photographed here <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="334" title="Nod"/> but being a spider-lover, I must point out what this position of the little guy here says. I have 2 options actually:
1. that the spider is dying
2. (more likeable) that it's much scared <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
Whatever of them is a match here, you should have taken lots of pictures, as a scared creature won't make a single move, so it's a perfect model (at least till he 'teleports' somewhere faster than You can actually move your eyes) <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>

All Your favourite 'models' seem to stand in a row, which is much hard to capture in natural environment, as Nature has her own order, free from humane 'inventions' like straight lines... and sequences like this presented here in Your perspective. That's why I find this shot much outstanding from thousands of other macro pictures <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="357" title="Heart"/>

The colours are 'catchy' for the eye, however a little bit too glowy behind the spider. I find it very good that the tones become more intensive and dark the further the eye goes. I have this feeling however, that if You increased the shadowing instead of increasing the contrast here, the intensive colour in the background would have been less glary.

To conclude, the picture has much potential which You expose in an excellent way with just slight edition. It's something to admire.
If I may suggest something though, please experiment with different angles and positioning of Your subjects. In my eyes this shot here lacks a bit of dynamics and my imagination somehow 'rotates' it a little more to the right side, making the spider stand lower than it is now. It's just me and my head of course and I consider this capture highly creative as it is now.

Wish You lots of amazing shots like that!
